The Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York is coming up – it’s running from the 8th till the 11th of November and they’ve got a great line-up of events over the course of the weekend. We’re heading up there in support of the film that we made in collaboration with director Simon Clode, ‘The High Mountain’ – have a look at our post about the production here.

“The Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) is an international film festival taking place across 15 diverse venues in the historic city of York from 8 to 11 November 2012. Hosted by the art and culture publication Aesthetica Magazine, the festival champions and celebrates emerging filmmaking talent from across the world, spanning all genres from Comedy to Drama, Animation to Documentary, Thriller to Experimental.
Alongside a rich screening programme encompassing over 200 films, ASFF hosts a series of industry masterclasses on Friday 9 November. We would like to offer you the chance to attend a masterclass on artists’ film with the artist Ed Atkins (represented by Chisenhale Gallery, exhibitor at Frieze New York) and Dr Sam Lackey, Curator at The Hepworth Wakefield, at a fantastic rate of just £4 per ticket (50% off).
